Eric Clapton, rock guitar legend, has enlisted an impressive lineup of artists for the 2010 Crossroads Guitar Festival, including John Mayer, Buddy Guy, Sheryl Crow, Vince Gill, Jeff Beck, B.B. King, Steve Winwood, ZZ Top and The Allman Brothers Band.

Set to take place at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, IL on June 26, the festival will also be featuring Doyle Bramhall II, Jimmy Vaughn, Robert Randolph, Keb’ Mo’ and Robert Cray among others.

Clapton said I was able to realize a big dream of mine with the Crossroads Festival by gathering together a group of amazing and talented musicians all on one stage to perform. The performers of Crossroads are all musicians that I respect and admire.

Tickets for the festival will cost $100 plus applicable fees and parking. On February 20 they will be going on sale via Tickermaster via their website phone line and retail outlets as well as the box office of Toyota Park.

Proceeds from the 2010 festival will go to benefit the Crossroads Centre, an Antigua substance abuse rehab center that was founded in 1998 by Clapton. Additional information regarding the organization can be found at the website for Crossroads Centre.

Clapton, in other news, is preparing for several co-headlining shows with Jeff Beck. This weekend will kick things off with a London two night stand. In February and March Clapton will be out on solo concerts across the US.
